Multicultural Week at Bristow

Bristow Leadership and ASB are excited to announce that we are hosting a multicultural week at Bristow from 1/16- 1/19 during both lunches. We will be representing and honoring many different cultures from around the world by providing booths that focus on food, crafts/art, music, dance, language, clothing/artifacts and games. We hope that all students participate in this fun and educational event.

1/15 Monday: No School
1/16 Tuesday: Latin America
1/17 Wednesday: Asian Countries
1/18 Thursday: African Countries, Australia, and Pacific Islands
1/19 Friday: Europe and Canada

Friday Spirit Day: Dress to represent your Heritage/Culture – Dress in flag colors or tradition attire, etc
PLEASE NOTE: We have cancelled the Movie Night that was scheduled for after school on Friday 1/19. We will be doing an alternative activity later on in the school year. Students with ASB Stickers will be able to attend this alternative event at no cost.

HELP NEEDED**If you have a craft or skill related to one of these countries and would like to come in share your culture with our school please contact Mrs. Borba at sborba@brentwood.k12.ca.us We would love to have people who could show us different dances (Jarabe Tapatio, Irish Dance, Bharatanatyam, Hula dance, etc)or share music or artifacts (tradition clothing) from their heritage.


Students who reside within district boundaries may apply for enrollment in any school in the district. Applications for Intradistrict Transfer will be accepted during the period of January 8, 2018 through March 1, 2018 for the next school year, or for students entering the district after March 1st, within 5 days of enrollment. If you wish to return to the school from which you were displaced, or if you wish to attend another school for any reason, you must submit an Intradistrict Transfer request.
